Well house to shed (Part 2-Concrete installation)

Now that the forms are set, it's time to pour the concrete. Time is not on their side when the crew shows up early in the morning. As the day warms up and if a breeze starts, the concrete will set up too fast. This typically results in shrinkage cracking sometime mitigated by post pour scoring 1" deep grooves to control cracks. This is especially important in expansive clay areas like this one. The since of brotherhood and jovial attitudes seem to make this very laborious work more tolerable. I can understand how these guys feel walking off the job site everyday with the instant gratification of a job well done.
